Darcy received her Master’s degree in physical therapy from Andrews University in Michigan in 2000.
After graduation, she started working at Mayo Health system in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. While there she obtained experience in acute care inpatient setting and outpatient orthopedics. She helped start the lymphedema program at the Eau Claire campus of Mayo after being certified in manual lymph drainage and complete decongestive physical therapy. She also became certified in LSVT Big through LSVT global for treatment in Parkinson’s patients while also specializing in Chronic pain. She utilizes manual therapy techniques such as Cranial Sacral techniques, visceral, and nerve mobilization. Her practice also includes osteopathic techniques and several myofascial techniques including Graston Technique. While working at Mayo, she also worked in long and short-term rehabilitation settings outside the Mayo Health system setting, gaining experience in wound care, fall prevention, and rehab to help patients return home to their previous level of function.
